Dear Teachers,
We are thrilled to be providing you and your young engineers with a robotics and STEM program that will allow you to learn and create together! At Latino STEM, we make teachers our priority. We ensure that you have high quality resources to rely on, trainings and on-site support to guide you, as well as a friend to call whenever you need us. This year, we developed a program that (we hope!) will create more joy, laughs, and creativity as your students work together to make meaningful artifacts of learning, and to explore something way darn cool, and brand spankin’ new!
We’re excited for you to relay our 3 mystery challenge concepts to your students as they are dropped at random throughout the year. We hope the anticipation of these ultra fun-by-design breakaways will genuinely catch your interest and support. These challenges will intersect with your core curriculum of building and coding the robots, yet, augment student discovery with tangents that introduce students to cutting edge technology, and will involve current STEM events and news from around the world!
This page will provide you with a deep understanding of how to begin your class, including training resources, our curriculum, and other resources that will set you up for success! We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas as to how we can continue to improve and make the best program possible for your amazing students, and look forward to creating a special community for you this year, and going forward!

K-3 Early Learning STEM Program
Grades 5-12 VEX robotics and STEM Program
Complete our VEX Training Modules
These training modules will take you from the unboxing of your VEX IQ robot, to set-up, firmware updates, and finally, the beginning concepts of blocking that you’ll be teaching students. Alongside this resource, LSA staff are available at your convenience to schedule a remote or in-person introduction or training session around all of your unique questions, including classroom management strategies, project-based learning best practices, and other STEM necessities that will make the beginning of your club a smooth launch!
Review the training along side a handy VEX Kit, pour a delicious beverage, and come along as we get that bot together and movin’!
